Cantorion Llandeilo Singers will celebrate Spring in Llandeilo on Saturday, 29th March 2025 in St Teilo’s Church with a selection of favourites from their repertoire. The concert starts at 7.00 p.m.
Priced at only £10 per ticket for adults, with under-18s free of charge, this concert is sure to be an accessible, delightful, and enjoyable evening’s entertainment for the whole family. Included will be lighter music from the 20th century including ‘Rhythm of Life’, ‘From a Distance’, ‘Fields of Gold’, ‘You Raise me Up’, and a medley from Les Misérables, together with more traditional pieces from Mozart Requiem, Handel Messiah, and ‘So God Loved the World’ by Stainer.
Local Welsh soprano Helen Pugh, known to many, will delight with additional solo songs. The interval will be a time to chat upstairs in the church while enjoying a drink at the licensed wine bar.
Conductor Colin New will lead the performance, with Dorothy Singh accompanying on the piano and Wyn Turner providing the organ accompaniment.
